Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Milker to join our team on the farm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the milking of dairy cows, ensuring the health and well-being of the livestock, and maintaining a clean and efficient milking environment. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to animal care.

Responsibilities

Perform milking duties using both manual and automated milking equipment.
Ensure proper hygiene and sanitation practices are followed in the milking parlor.
Monitor the health of cows during milking and report any abnormalities or concerns to management.
Maintain and clean milking equipment and facilities regularly.
Assist with feeding, watering, and caring for livestock as needed.
Operate farm machinery safely and efficiently when required.
Perform basic maintenance on equipment using hand tools and power tools.
Conduct heavy lifting as necessary to support farm operations.

Experience

Previous experience in dairy farming or livestock handling is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with farm machinery operation is a plus, along with mechanical knowledge for basic repairs.
Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the shift.
Basic math skills for recording milk production data accurately.
Experience with hand tools and power tools is beneficial for maintenance tasks.
