We are a growing landscaping and property maintenance company serving Gravenhurst and the surrounding Muskoka area. Our focus is on delivering high-quality lawn care, landscaping, property maintenance, and outdoor improvement services while building long-term relationships with our clients through reliability, professionalism, and attention to detail.
As our company continues to grow, we are looking for a motivated and dependable Landscape Crew Lead who can take ownership of projects in the field, lead a small team, communicate effectively with clients, and help maintain the high standards our customers have come to expect.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate a crew of 1–3 team members on daily job sites
- Complete lawn maintenance, landscaping, garden maintenance, and property improvement projects
- Communicate professionally with clients and address questions or concerns on-site
- Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards
- Plan and organize daily tasks to keep crews productive throughout the workday
- Operate trucks, trailers, landscaping equipment, and power tools safely and responsibly
- Conduct site assessments and identify opportunities for additional services
- Report job progress, material requirements, equipment issues, and client feedback to management
- Assist with training, mentoring, and developing newer team members
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance of equipment, vehicles, and job sites
- Represent the company professionally at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience in landscaping, lawn care, construction, property maintenance, or a related field
- Prior crew leadership or supervisory experience is strongly preferred
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and solve problems in the field
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid G Driver's License with a clean driving record
- Experience towing trailers and operating commercial landscaping equipment is an asset
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to and from work
Preferred Assets (Not Required)
Candidates with any of the following qualifications will be given additional consideration:
- Ownership of a pickup truck suitable for work-related travel
- Pesticide Applicator License
- Irrigation installation, maintenance, or troubleshooting experience
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as skid steers, mini excavators, tractors, or loaders
- Landscape construction experience including grading, retaining walls, interlock, or drainage work
- Experience with property management, snow removal, or year-round maintenance services
Compensation & Benefits
- $23.00–$28.00 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and leadership ability
- Mileage reimbursement available for employees who use their personal vehicle for approved company-related travel
