Join the Jesse Tree Fine Foods Team at Hale Muskoka – Summer 2026

Jesse Tree Fine Foods is a family-owned specialty food company passionate about bringing high-quality artisanal products to customers across Ontario. We work with premium imported and locally sourced foods, with a focus on authentic ingredients, exceptional quality, and products that make entertaining and cooking easy and enjoyable.

This summer at Hale Muskoka, we’re excited to showcase a curated collection of cottage-season favourites — from charcuterie and pantry staples to ready-to-serve entertaining products and beverages.

We are hiring for multiple specialty cabins:

Liquor Cabin
Ready-Made Food Cabin
Grocery/Charcuterie Cabin
Fish & Meat Cabin

Schedule

Retail Booths: Thursday–Sunday, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Liquor Booth: Friday–Sunday, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Responsibilities

Engage with customers to promote brand awareness and product offerings through friendly and professional interactions
Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to educate customers and encourage purchases
Assist customers with product selection, upselling, and cross-selling to maximize sales opportunities
Learning about our products and confidently sharing recommendations with customers
Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments
Maintain merchandising standards by organizing displays and ensuring product availability on the sales floor
Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction
Utilize communication skills to effectively convey product benefits and brand messaging
Manage time efficiently to ensure coverage during scheduled shifts and meet sales goals
Uphold phone etiquette when responding to customer inquiries via phone or online platforms
Support inventory management tasks such as stock replenishment and organizing back-stock

Requirements

Prior experience in retail sales, merchandising, or sales is a plus
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers confidently and professionally
Smart Serve certification required for liquor cabin position
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
Experience with POS systems, cashiering, and cash handling procedures
Excellent organizational skills for managing displays, stock levels, and time management during shifts
Customer service orientation with a friendly demeanor and professional phone etiquette
Ability to perform product demos confidently while explaining product features clearly
Demonstrated ability to upsell products tactfully to enhance sales performance
Reliable with good organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Food Handlers Certification is a plus
