About the Opportunity
Our client is a growing advanced manufacturing company in Halifax specializing in high-power RF systems and related electronic assemblies. They design and build innovative technology used in complex, real-world applications for global customers.
As production ramps up, they are looking to add a Lead Hand Assembler (Electrical Focus) to support day-to-day assembly activities on the shop floor, with a strong emphasis on electrical components, wiring, and build quality.

- Assemble and integrate components at module, rack, and system levels
- Interpret wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, assembly drawings, and BOMs
- Assist in assigning and organizing work for assemblers as directed by the Production Supervisor
- Act as a first point of support for troubleshooting assembly issues on the floor
- Ensure quality standards are met through inspection, measurement, and verification of work
- Support continuous improvement by identifying process or build issues
- Work with adhesives, compounds, and precision assembly tools as required
- Help maintain workflow efficiency, cleanliness, and organization in the production area
