Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Baseball Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in baseball, along with experience teaching youth and skills to maintain equipment and training facility. This position requires a commitment to fostering a positive, safe and competitive environment while promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth among athletes. Coaches prepare and train individual athletes.

Duties

Develop well planned ciriculum, schedules and programs
Perform clerical duties, such as maintain player statistics
Plan and execute engaging baseball & softball practices that focus on skill improvement, teamwork, and strategic understanding of the game
Prepare teaching materials and outlines for courses
Teach fundamental baseball techniques such as batting, pitching, fielding, and base running to players of varying skill levels
Plan, develop and implement training and practice sessions
Participate in coaching clinic instruction
Analyze and evaluate athletes' performance
Assemble mechanical equipment, maintain training facility
Carry out management duties·
Foster a positive environment

Skills

Proven experience in coaching baseball at youth or amateur levels
Proven experience teaching children
Strong knowledge of baseball rules, techniques, and strategies
Excellent communication skills
Ability to motivate and inspire athletes of diverse backgrounds and skill levels
Demonstrated commitment to player safety and fostering a positive sporting environment

Pay: From $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44.0 per week

Work Location: In person
