Our Client is a global leader in distribution solutions meeting the needs of such industries as food, pharma, personal care and industrial. They are seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner to join their team on a 12-month contract. This role follows a hybrid work arrangement requiring three to four days per week onsite in office located in Mississauga and one to two days working remotely.
This strategic talent acquisition business partner will oversee talent acquisition and retention efforts, ensuring the attraction of top talent and fostering an exceptional candidate & employee experience. The ideal candidate will excel in developing recruitment strategies, employer branding and data driven solutions for Canada & US while contributing to a culture of excellence. You will be ready to roll-up your sleeves in supporting day to day tactical and operational recruitment activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition Strategy:

Develop & execute innovative recruitment strategies to attract, source and hire talent.

Create and promote a strong employer brand in the North America market.

Ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience, encompassing the application, interview, offer and onboarding processes while complying with all legal requirements.

Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address retention challenges proactively.

Build and maintain a network of potential candidates, ensuring pipeline of qualified talent for future opportunities.

Engage in relationship building efforts with industry professional and community organization to source talent.

Utilize social media platforms and develop & foster relationships with external associations to drive networking and candidate pool development.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Consultation:

Partner with senior leaders & management to advice and coach on best practices to talent acquisition.

Provide training and support on recruitment tools, trends and strategies.
Recruitment Process Management:

Maximize the use of recruitment platforms, job boards, and other tools to streamline the hiring and onboarding processes

Oversee and support the recruitment of hourly plant positions in collaboration with HR Business Partners

Track and analyze recruitment metrics to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

Maintain and enhance recruitment tracker for Senior Stakeholder and provide insights on trends.

Manage the full cycle of recruitment process for positions: posting positions, screening resumes, selecting candidates, scheduling and conducting screening interviews, coordinating assessments and tests, drafting offer letters and processing references and background checks.
