Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Staff Member to join our team in roles including cashier, packer, and cook. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced food service environment, providing excellent customer service while ensuring food quality and safety. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the food industry, possess strong multitasking skills, and demonstrate a commitment to sanitation and food safety standards.

Duties

Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
Operate POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cash handling with accuracy.
Greet customers, take orders, and provide friendly, efficient service to enhance customer experience.
Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving change.
Pack orders efficiently for dine-in or take-out customers while maintaining cleanliness and organization.
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with sanitation standards.
Assist in upselling menu items to increase sales opportunities.
Follow food safety protocols during food preparation, handling, and storage.
Support team members during busy periods by performing various tasks such as serving or cleaning as needed.

Experience

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred.
Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS or similar is a plus.
Experience in cashiering, food preparation, or kitchen operations is desirable.
Strong time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently during peak hours.
Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and upsell menu items when appropriate.
Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy are essential.
