Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Sandwich Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing delicious sandwiches and food items, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and sanitized work environment. This role is vital in ensuring our customers receive high-quality food and a positive dining experience. Prior experience in food service is preferred but not required; we value a strong work ethic and a passion for the food industry.

Responsibilities

Prepare sandwiches and food items according to company standards
Follow instructions and guidance from the Team Leader and management
Work collaboratively with team members in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Maintain attention to detail to ensure food quality and presentation standards are met
Prepare vegetables, sauces, and other ingredients for daily operations
Keep workstations clean, organized, and sanitized at all times
Assist with general kitchen duties and opening/closing tasks as required
Remove garbage and support end-of-day cleaning procedures
Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards

Qualifications

Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory
Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively
Understanding of food safety practices and sanitation procedures
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Kitchen or food industry experience is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
