Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and organized Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and clients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with various office software. Experience in medical or dental office settings is a plus, but not required. The Front Desk Agent will play a vital role in maintaining smooth office operations and fostering a welcoming environment.

Duties

Greet visitors and clients promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive first impression
Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls appropriately and providing excellent customer support
Handle data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks as needed
Maintain and organize filing systems, both physical and electronic, for easy retrieval of documents
Schedule appointments, manage calendars, and coordinate meetings efficiently
Assist with clerical duties such as proofreading documents, typing correspondence, and maintaining office supplies
Perform basic bookkeeping and bookkeeping-related tasks for the office or dental practice
Ensure the front desk area remains tidy and welcoming at all times
Support administrative functions related to medical or dental office operations as required

Skills

Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and data entry applications
Experience with QuickBooks or similar bookkeeping software is preferred
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional customer service skills with professional phone etiquette
Clerical experience, including filing, proofreading, and administrative support
Familiarity with front desk procedures in medical or dental offices is advantageous
Ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently and courteously
Strong typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry and correspondence
Knowledge of office equipment operation such as printers, scanners, and fax machines

This position offers an engaging work environment where professionalism and excellent communication are valued. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring smooth daily operations while providing outstanding support to visitors, clients, and team members.

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
