Position: Dental Administrator

Location: Peterborough, ON

Clinic: Lotus Family Dental

We’re looking for a skilled and compassionate Dental Administrator to join our team at Lotus Family Dental, a proud part of the Passion Dental Group. Whether you’re early in your career or bring years of experience, you’ll be joining a supportive, professional environment where you can bring your expertise, energy, and empathy to the front desk.

Specifics about the role:
Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: 30-44 hours a week

Wage range: $20-30/h depends on the candidate's experience

What you’ll do:

Be the warm, welcoming face of the clinic, ensuring every patient feels valued and cared for
Manage phone calls, direct inquiries, and efficiently book appointments
Maintain and organize the patient database with accuracy and confidentiality
Oversee insurance claims, billing systems, and follow up with insurance companies
Establish and manage office protocols to keep operations running smoothly
Coordinate and optimize appointment schedules
Provide leadership and foster a team culture focused on outstanding client service

What you’ll bring to the role:

Strong communication skills – both verbal and written
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
Friendly, professional demeanor with a patient-first mindset
Ability to multitask and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Dental clinic environment experience will be an asset
