Overview

Join our team as a Chemical Delivery Driver and be at the forefront of transporting essential chemical products safely and efficiently. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine your driving expertise with operational skills, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. As a vital link in our supply chain, you’ll play a key role in supporting industrial and commercial clients with reliable, professional service. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will drive success in this fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver chemicals to various industrial, or commercial sites, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
Load and unload chemical products using forklifts and chemical pumps ensuring proper handling and secure placement.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic automotive repairs as needed to maintain optimal performance and safety.
Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including manifests, delivery logs, and safety compliance records.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any logistical issues promptly.
Follow strict safety protocols for handling hazardous materials, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and spill prevention procedures.

Skills

Valid class 5 driver’s license with a clean drivers abstract.
Certification or experience operating forklifts and other heavy equipment essential for loading and unloading operations.
Knowledge of freight handling procedures, especially related to hazardous or chemical materials.
Ability to perform basic automotive repairs to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues quickly.
Strong understanding of safety regulations related to chemical transportation and handling hazardous materials.
Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients effectively.
Physical ability to lift heavy loads, operate heavy machinery, and stand or walk for extended periods.

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 40.0 per week

Work Location: In person
