Overview
We are seeking an experienced Lead Lawn Care Driver to join our landscaping team. This role involves overseeing lawn maintenance projects, operating various equipment, and ensuring high-quality service delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape maintenance and construction, with the ability to lead a team effectively. A valid driver’s license and mechanical aptitude are essential for this position, which offers an opportunity to work on diverse outdoor projects using a variety of tools and machinery.

Responsibilities

Operate lawn care equipment including mowers, trimmers, and blowers to maintain residential and commercial properties
Lead and coordinate a team of lawn care technicians to ensure timely completion of projects
Drive company vehicles safely to multiple job sites while adhering to all traffic regulations
Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, fertilizing, and irrigation system installation or repair
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment like excavators for site preparation and landscaping projects
Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance
Assist with excavation, irrigation setup, and other horticultural tasks as needed
Maintain safety standards on-site and ensure team compliance with safety protocols

Experience

Proven experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture is required
Mechanical knowledge related to landscaping equipment and small machinery is highly desirable
Prior experience operating excavators or other construction machinery is a plus
Familiarity with irrigation systems, hand tools, power tools, and general maintenance practices in outdoor settings
Leadership experience in a landscaping or construction environment is preferred
Strong understanding of horticultural principles and landscape design concepts is advantageous
