Job Summary
LogicLamp is seeking a licensed Master Electrician to serve as the Company's Designated Master Electrician (DME) on record while also providing leadership as a Field Master Electrician.
This role combines regulatory compliance, field operations, crew supervision, project management, and technical leadership. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the Company's electrical contractor compliance requirements while actively supporting project planning, overseeing installations, supervising field staff, and ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with applicable codes and regulations.
This position is ideal for a hands-on electrical leader who enjoys balancing compliance responsibilities with active involvement in field operations and project execution.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesignated Master Electrician Responsibilities
- Serve as LogicLamp's Designated Master Electrician.
- Maintain Master Electrician licence and DME eligibility.
Construction Management
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee electrical construction projects.
- Manage project schedules and field execution.
- Coordinate customers, suppliers, subcontractors, utilities, and inspectors.
- Support budgeting, resource planning, and project controls.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and profitably.
Field Leadership
- Supervise electricians, apprentices, and subcontractors.
- Conduct site visits, inspections, and quality reviews.
- Monitor workmanship, productivity, and safety compliance.
- Mentor and support field personnel.
- Provide leadership during project mobilization and execution.
Technical Support
- Provide technical guidance to project teams.
- Review project documentation and electrical designs.
- Support troubleshooting and problem-solving activities.
- Assist with service sizing, power distribution, and system reviews.
- Support commissioning and project close-out activities.
QualificationsRequired
- Valid Ontario Master Electrician Licence.
- Eligible to act as a Designated Master Electrician under ESA requirements.
- Minimum 5 years of experience supervising electrical projects and personnel.
- Strong knowledge of the Ontario Electrical Safety Code and ESA requirements.
- Experience in commercial, industrial, institutional, or energy retrofit projects.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Valid Ontario Driver's Licence and reliable transportation.
Preferred
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with EV charging installations, lighting retrofits, or energy efficiency projects.
- Strong customer-facing and project management experience.
- Familiarity with energy services and sustainability initiatives.
