Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team and oversee all aspects of kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, extensive restaurant management experience, and a passion for creating exceptional dining experiences and have extensive Catering experience. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for menu development, food quality, safety standards, coaching and mentoring and team management to ensure the highest level of service and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and food service personnel
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure consistency and quality
Develop innovative menus that align with restaurant branding and customer preferences
Manage food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control food costs effectively
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen environment
Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
Implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency
Handle customer feedback related to food quality and service

Requirements

Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting
Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
In-depth knowledge of restaurant management practices and food safety regulations
Excellent understanding of the food industry trends and hospitality standards
Demonstrated experience in menu development and culinary innovation
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional communication skills for team coordination and customer interaction
Prior restaurant experience with a focus on high-quality service delivery
Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and professionalism

Pay: $83,000.00 per year
