Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinic Manager to oversee the daily operations of our pediatric clinic. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in healthcare management, with expertise in fiscal management and medical office administration. This role requires a proactive leader who can ensure efficient clinic operations while maintaining high standards of patient care and compliance with healthcare regulations.

Responsibilities

Manage the overall operations of the clinic, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Supervise staff, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance and professional development.
Oversee financial management, including budgeting, fiscal planning, and resource allocation.
Implement and maintain efficient office management practices, including scheduling, patient flow, and EMR/EHR systems.
Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient records.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to enhance patient care services and improve clinic efficiency.
Manage human resources functions, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
Monitor clinic performance metrics and implement strategies for improvement.
Maintain knowledge of medical terminology, records management, and relevant healthcare policies.

Qualifications

Proven experience in medical office management or clinic administration.
Strong supervisory experience with a focus on team leadership and development.
Familiarity with EMR systems such as Accuro, Oscar, Epic, or similar platforms.
Knowledge of financial management principles including budgeting and fiscal oversight.
Understanding of managed care processes and utilization management practices.
Experience in acute care or critical care settings is preferred; veterinary experience is a plus.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Strong communication skills to interact professionally with staff, patients, and external partners.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.00-$40.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

Windsor, ON N9C 2L6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Clinic Management : 3 years (required)
