Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Food Counter Attendant and become the friendly face that delivers exceptional food service experiences! In this lively role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving delicious food items, managing customer transactions efficiently, and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help create memorable dining moments for every guest. Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems, including Micros POS, to process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while providing excellent customer service.
Serve food to customers in a friendly manner, upselling menu items when appropriate to enhance the guest experience.
Maintain sanitation and food safety standards by following proper food handling procedures and cleaning protocols.
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and minimize wait times.
Assist with basic food preparation tasks in the kitchen area as needed, supporting overall restaurant operations.

Requirements

Previous food service experience or restaurant experience is highly preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus.
Knowledge of food handling safety procedures and sanitation practices.
Experience with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for efficient transaction processing.
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities.
Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and order calculations.
Ability to work well within a team and adapt quickly to changing priorities in a busy setting.
Kitchen or food industry experience is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
