Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Dispatcher to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating freight shipments, managing transportation schedules, and ensuring efficient communication across supply chain operations. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where strong communication and analytical skills are essential for success. Prior experience with transportation management systems and shipping & receiving processes is highly valued.

Duties

Manage shipping & receiving activities, ensuring timely delivery and pickup of goods
Communicate effectively with drivers, carriers, warehouse staff, and clients via multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette
Analyze freight data to optimize routes, reduce costs, and improve overall supply chain efficiency
Maintain accurate records of shipping documentation, freight details, and delivery schedules
Monitor supply chain activities to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations

Skills

Strong data entry skills with high typing speed and accuracy
Excellent analysis skills to interpret freight data and improve logistics processes
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with professional phone etiquette
Ability to operate multi-line phone systems efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures within a supply chain context
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

This role is vital for maintaining seamless transportation operations within our organization. We seek motivated individuals who excel in communication, analysis, and coordination to contribute to our ongoing success.

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
