Join Our Team

MCA Contracting Ltd. is seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team in Lively, Ontario.

This is a full-time, year-round position supporting the day-to-day operations of our office. The successful candidate will play a key role in bookkeeping, payroll, job cost tracking, and general administrative support while working closely with our management team.

Responsibilities

Perform day-to-day bookkeeping using QuickBooks.
Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
Process accurate and timely payroll for office and field employees.
Track project costs and job-specific expenses throughout the construction season.
Maintain organized financial and administrative records.
Perform data entry using QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and Microsoft Word.
Answer phones, respond to emails, and provide general administrative support.
Assist with filing, document management, and other office duties as required.
Support management with various administrative tasks to ensure efficient office operations.

Qualifications

Experience with QuickBooks and basic bookkeeping principles is considered an asset (training will be provided to the right candidate).
Previous office administration or bookkeeping experience is preferred but not required.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and standard office software.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
