Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter / General Labourer, to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various aspects of construction, including carpentry, concrete work, and the use of power tools. Candidates should be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of heavy lifting and operating heavy equipment. This position is paid and suitable for individuals committed to delivering quality craftsmanship in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Construct, install, and repair structures using carpentry skills, including framing, and woodworking
Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently for various construction tasks
Use heavy equipment operation skills for tasks such as lifting and moving heavy materials or machinery
Follow safety protocols during all phases of construction work, including heavy lifting and working with power tools

Skills

Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools for various construction tasks
Physical strength to perform heavy lifting regularly throughout the workday
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in interpreting technical drawings
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a dynamic construction environment
