About Spark Studios:

About the Role:

We're seeking passionate and energetic Dance Instructor to join our team and share the joy of dance with students of all ages (4-18). In this role, you'll design and deliver engaging lesson plans, choreograph exciting routines, and create a dynamic learning environment where students can develop their technique, creativity, and confidence. If you have a love for dance, experience working with children and teens, and a passion for teaching and choreography, we encourage you to apply!

Responsibilities:

Instruction: * Teach a variety of dance styles to students ages 4-18 (Acrobatics, Tap, Hip Hop, Ballet, Lyrical, Contemporary, Jazz).
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with our curriculum and cater to different age groups and skill levels.
Choreography & Music Editing: * Create innovative and age-appropriate choreography for class routines and performances.
Select and edit music for dance routines.
Classroom Management: * Create and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel safe, supported, and inspired.
Communication: * Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress and any studio updates.
Teamwork: * Collaborate with other instructors and studio staff to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
Professionalism: * Maintain a professional demeanor and adhere to studio policies and procedures.

Must Haves

Dance experience and expertise in one or more of the following styles: Acrobatics, Hip Hop, Ballet, Lyrical, Contemporary, Jazz, Preschool Dance
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to be professional while also friendly, upbeat and welcoming.
Love working with and around children of all ages.
Love building connections within a community.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and an “everything has a solution” attitude.
