Full job description

About the Opportunity

Process accurate and timely biweekly payroll using Dayforce.
Review, validate, and maintain payroll data while ensuring compliance with company policies and employment legislation.
Manage employee timesheets, time-off requests, and payroll inquiries.
Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and perform payroll reconciliations.
Prepare year-end payroll documentation, including T4s and Records of Employment (ROEs).
Administer employee benefits, including enrollments, changes, terminations, and leave-related updates.
Manage employee savings plans (RRSP, RESP, FHSA, DPSP) and maintain accurate records.
Track employee leaves, coordinate return-to-work processes, and support disability and accommodation programs.
Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
Generate HR and payroll reports and support month-end and year-end reporting.
Assist with onboarding, employee communications, policy updates, and HR administration.
Support Health & Safety initiatives, employee events, and special HR projects.
Maintain confidentiality while providing exceptional service to employees.

About You

College diploma or university degree in Human Resources, Payroll, Business, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of full-cycle payroll experience.
Minimum 1 year of employee benefits administration experience.
Hands-on experience processing payroll using **Dayforce** (required).
Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation, Employment Standards, and payroll compliance.
Experience with HRIS, payroll, and benefits administration systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as Google Workspace.
PCP (Payroll Compliance Practitioner) designation is considered a strong asset.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strict confidentiality.

Salary Range
$68,000 - $72,000/year
