Title: Full-time/Part-time Room Attendant / Housekeeper
Gibsons Garden Hotel - located in Gibsons, Sunshine Coast BC. As a well-known hotel in Gibsons, we are proud to our very friendly working environment with a super responsive team. The hotel major renovation has been completed in 2019. We are seeking for an active, friendly, and hard working housekeeper to join our operation team and providing superior customer service and attention to details with room cleaning.

Working Schedule:
3-5 days per week, 6.5-7.5 hours per day. Working shift starts 9:00 am.

Description:
Under general supervision, the housekeeper is required to achieve the maximum possible efficiency in ensuring the care and comfort of guests and in the smooth running of the department. The aims of housekeepers are to establish a welcoming atmosphere and ensure courteous, reliable service from all staff of the department. The housekeeper is to ensure providing a high standard of cleanliness, sanitary comfortable, orderly, and satisfying surroundings for the guests throughout the Hotel. Our goal is to provide timely, personalized, friendly, and efficient service to our guests. Reports to: On-duty Assistant Manager or Direct Manager
Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties: Based on the Housekeeping Daily Work Checking List to perform daily tasks which include the following but not limited to:
- Make up beds and change towels;
- Throw out the garbage;
- Wash bathroom which includes brush toilet, wash sink, brush and wash bathtub, and mop floor and vacuum guest floor;
- Wash, fold towels, linens, and kitchen rugs;
- Change bed linens when checking out;
- Tidy up rooms guest including but not limited to wipe the table, move furniture to an original position, etc.
Some other duties possible assigned based on the Housekeeping Daily Work Checking List.
Minimum Requirements:
- Able to work independently;
- Requires standing/walking/bending throughout shift;
- Basic communication skill with staff.
