Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating and inside sales / customer service skills. Responsibilities:
- Serve customers in person, over phone and over emails. At first you will handle walk-in customers, calls and emails. As you learn we will give you customer accounts to also manage. Our customers tend to be loyal and very happy with our services.
- Read customer requirements as complex as full CAD drawings to as simple as hand sketches to estimate costs and lead times for customers.
- Collaborate with customers, other project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information to complete fabrication and manufacturing projects.
- Track your jobs and projects to completion with our onsite fabricators. Our fabricators have decades of experience and are super helpful every step of the way.
- Learn the uses, benefits and disadvantages of various plastics materials to best suit the customers needs.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in estimating and serving customers in a variety of ways.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret project requirements and CAD drawings.
- A degree or tech diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Construction etc) or equivalent in real experience would be a strong asset.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities for customers and internal coworkers.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines - not often required but may happen a few times a year for a few days at a time.
- Background in manufacturing, fabrication, cabinet making/installs, engineering, and/or Sales would be an asset.
- Fluency in French would be an asset.

- 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with 30 min lunch & two 15 min breaks (Sorry these hours are firm)
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday only

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (required)
