Primary Objective of the Position:

The successful applicant will develop load plans while ensuring the safe and efficient use of aircraft.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure accurate and safe load information is presented to flight crew.
Ensure maximum utilization of space on all flights.
Communicate all relevant load information to down line stations, Cargo Movement Control & management.
Audit all load information to ensure 100% accuracy.
Compile all container and containerized and loose cargo information onto a load plan worksheet.
Planning of nightly warehouse breakdown.
Contact customers and retrieve information applicable to nightly volume.
Assembly of nightly shift package, which contains all pertinent information.
Advise customers of delays to applicable flights.
Assist Customer Service and the Station Manager as required.
Send detailed reports in regard to flight delays or other operational issues.
Will also be required to assist with breakdown and buildup of cargo.
Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical skills.
Must be detail oriented.
Strong working knowledge of all MS Office applications and Kargomine/Sable.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong mathematical skills.
Dangerous Goods training required if selected.
