Full job description

Parts for Trucks has been an industry leader providing parts and service to the heavy-duty trucking industry for over 100 years. We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Equipment Sales Representative (NB/PEI region) to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Equipment Operations, this position will focus on building relationships with customers, generating new business, and providing product solutions that meet customer needs. The successful candidate will also have a component of outside deliveries, supporting our commitment to timely and efficient service.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers to increase sales and grow market share.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the territory.
Provide excellent customer service by understanding client needs, offering solutions, and ensuring product availability.
Manage and follow-up on leads and customer inquiries, ensuring all communication is tracked in the CRM system.
Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activities.
Participate in training programs and stay updated on product knowledge.
Work collaboratively with internal teams to meet customer expectations and resolve issues.
Participate in trade shows, sales meetings and follow trade publications.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience in an outside sales role within the heavy-duty truck and trailer parts industry.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.

· Capable of performing physical tasks, including lifting products.

Proficiency in technology, including Microsoft Office products is an asset.
Ability to travel overnight within the assigned territory and for training as required.
