We are seeking enthusiastic, dedicated, and energetic Soccer Coaches to join our New Brunswick Team. As a Little Kickers Soccer Coach, you’ll inspire and develop young athletes, give them memorable soccer experiences, bringing creativity and imagination to every session and creating a playful environment where learning is woven into every giggle and goal.
Coaches work in teams of two to three per class, fostering a collaborative environment. Many coaches return year after year, and several have stayed with us long-term, reflecting our supportive and enjoyable team atmosphere.
Coaching hours per week range from 3 to 10 hours, depending on your availability and willingness to coach additional classes or locations. Part-time – Saturday, Sunday mornings, and weekday evenings. Full Training provided.
Locations: Moncton, Saint John, Fredericton

Main Duties
- Coaching and managing Little Kickers soccer classes to 18 mths to 8 yr old children.
- Greet families and welcome young participants, ensuring every child starts their soccer journey with excitement and comfort.
- Motivate children to participate with enthusiasm, maintaining their attention through high-energy engagement and playful activities.
- Lead interactive, age-appropriate soccer sessions that reflect Little Kickers’ ethos of fun, non-competitive play. Training and session plans provided.
- Communication with coaches, children, parents/caregivers.
- Offering parents/caregivers feedback on child’s progress and encouraging family involvement in athletic development.
- Ensure consistent availability for weekend shifts, and some weekday shifts when available.
- Taking time to market the Little Kickers program to the wider community.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in teaching or coaching soccer or other sports is preferred
- Soccer playing/coaching experience.
- ECE, CYW, childcare background (preferrable).
- Minimum DCS/DEC education (required).
- Must be reliable, responsible, and able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Imaginative, energetic, enthusiastic, and outgoing personality who enjoys working with children, parents, and co-workers.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with children and deliver feedback to parents.
- Possess a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for carrying soccer equipment. You must be physically capable of carrying moderately heavy activity equipment and be comfortable working outside in varying weather conditions.
- The role is part time - varying from weekday afternoon to weekend hours. We run year- round and are growing so there is an opportunity to grow with us.
- Written character references and a valid Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check.
- CPR and First Aid Certification.
- Be physically fit for this role - coaching children through soccer training drills.
