Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of press machinery to produce high-quality products. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The Press Operator will collaborate with team members to ensure production goals are met while maintaining the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor press machines to ensure proper functioning and production output.
Assemble components using hand tools and machinery as required.
Perform routine maintenance on press equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
Fabricate parts according to specifications outlined in shop drawings.
Conduct quality control checks on finished products to ensure they meet established standards.
Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations during production processes.
Read and interpret shop drawings and technical drawings accurately.
Work with logic controllers to manage machine operations effectively.
Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and workflow.

Skills

Proficiency in operating forklifts safely and efficiently is preferred.
Strong understanding of machining processes and techniques.
Familiarity with quality control practices and procedures.
Ability to read shop drawings and technical specifications accurately.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting machinery issues.
Solid mathematical skills for measurements, calculations, and adjustments during production.
Competence in using hand tools for assembly and maintenance tasks.
