Join Our Team!

Skyline Carriers is a growing transportation and logistics company based in Nisku, AB. We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented Administrative Assistant / Bookkeeper to support our day-to-day operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and thrives in a fast-paced office environment.

Responsibilities

Bookkeeping and general accounting
Perform monthly bank reconciliations using QuickBooks
Process payroll and maintain employee records
Track and manage driver hours and timesheets
Accounts payable and accounts receivable
Prepare invoices and assist with collections
General administrative support for management
Manage calendars, scheduling, and executive assistance duties
Organize digital and paper filing systems
Assist with social media postings and basic marketing content
Answer phones, emails, and customer inquiries.

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who has:

Previous bookkeeping experience
Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks
Payroll processing experience
Experience performing bank reconciliations
Executive or administrative assistant experience
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong attention to detail
Professional communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Experience with social media and postings.

Preferred Experience

Transportation or logistics industry experience
Familiarity with driver timesheets or fleet operations
Experience managing social media accounts for a business
