Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman/woman to join our team. This role requires a professional with a strong background in blueprint reading, schematic interpretation, and the use of hand and power tools. As a key contributor to our projects, you will be responsible for executing complex tasks with precision and efficiency, ensuring high-quality results across diverse construction and restoration projects.

Duties

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide construction activities
Perform roofing and siding
Install cabinets, flooring, drywall, and perform carpentry and woodworking tasks
Execute restoration work including caulking, painting, siding repairs, and general finishing
Operate hand tools, power tools and other specialized equipment safely and effectively
Assist in construction estimating by providing accurate measurements and material requirements
Conduct heavy lifting as needed for material handling and project assembly
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within scope

Experience

Proven experience as a Journeyman/woman in construction and maintenance environments
Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings
Skilled in carpentry (including woodworking), roofing, siding installation, flooring installation and cabinetry
Handyman experience across multiple trades is advantageous
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
Strong understanding of safety protocols related to construction sites
Prior experience working with hand tools and power tools required

Pay: $32.00-$48.00 per hour
