Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to lead our Firehouse Subs location. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive food service and restaurant management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves overseeing daily operations, managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining a welcoming environment for guests. The Store Manager will play a vital role in driving the success of the restaurant while fostering a positive team culture.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service
Manage and supervise staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations
Handle cash management, POS transactions (including Micros POS), and financial reporting
Maintain high standards of food preparation, cooking, and presentation
Lead team members in delivering excellent customer service and hospitality experiences
Conduct interviews and participate in hiring processes to build a strong team
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate ordering to ensure product availability
Implement company policies and procedures to uphold brand standards
Address customer concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction and loyalty
Promote a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth

Skills

Proven experience in restaurant management or food service leadership
Strong background in food handling, food safety, and kitchen operations
Excellent supervisory skills with experience in team management and training
Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively
Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and restaurant operations
Leadership qualities including motivation, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage cash handling accurately and responsibly
Experience in hospitality settings such as hotel or barista roles is a plus
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments
