Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Marketing Specialist to join our innovative team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies across digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing, SEO, graphic design, and data analytics, with a passion for driving brand growth and engagement. The position is paid and suitable for individuals eager to contribute to a fast-paced, creative environment.

Duties

Visit retirement homes, long-term care facilities, and healthcare centers across North Bay, Sturgeon Falls, Parry Sound, Sudbury, and surrounding areas
Identify and meet decision-makers (administrators, HR, directors of care) to present staffing services
Generate new business opportunities and convert leads into signed contracts
Build and maintain strong client relationships for repeat business and long-term partnerships
Conduct follow-ups, negotiations, and close sales deals effectively
Maintain a pipeline of prospects and track all activities (meetings, leads, conversions)
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
Prepare proposals, pricing discussions, and service agreements
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth staffing fulfillment after closing deals
Monitor competitors and identify new market opportunities
Provide regular reports on sales performance, client visits, and revenue generated.
Experience
1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, or field marketing (preferably in healthcare staffing, recruitment, or service-based industries)
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Experience in client acquisition, cold calling, and in-person sales visits
Strong ability to communicate, negotiate, and close deals confidently
Comfortable traveling frequently to retirement homes and healthcare facilities across assigned regions
Ability to identify and engage with decision-makers (administrators, HR, management)
Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and ability to work independently without constant supervision
Basic knowledge of healthcare or staffing industry in Ontario is an asset
Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle (mandatory)
Familiarity with using CRM tools or sales tracking systems is an advantage

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Work Location: Hybrid remote in North Bay, ON
