Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and professional Office Administrator/Receptionist to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining smooth office operations, providing excellent customer service, and supporting administrative functions. The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills, experience with office management, and a friendly demeanor to greet visitors and handle multi-line phone systems efficiently. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where organizational skills and attention to detail are highly valued.

Responsibilities

Greet visitors and clients warmly at the front desk, providing exceptional customer service
Manage multi-line phone systems, screen calls, and direct inquiries appropriately
Perform data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks
Maintain organized filing systems, both electronic and paper-based
Schedule appointments and coordinate calendars for staff members
Handle administrative tasks such as proofreading documents, managing correspondence, and preparing reports
Assist with bookkeeping and basic bookkeeping duties using QuickBooks or similar software
Ensure the reception area remains tidy and professional at all times
Provide support for administrative projects as needed

Requirements

Proven experience in an office setting, including clerical or administrative roles
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace, and computer skills
Experience with QuickBooks or similar bookkeeping software preferred
Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and proofreading
Ability to handle multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette
Previous experience in customer service or front desk roles, especially in medical or dental offices is a plus
Strong typing skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Reliable work ethic with a friendly attitude and excellent communication skills

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
