Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Sales Representative with a strong background in customer service and retail sales. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, negotiation abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage with customers, promote products, and contribute to the growth of our dealership or retail environment. Previous dealership experience, familiarity with POS systems, and multilingual capabilities are highly valued. The position involves managing sales processes, order fulfillment, and maintaining organizational efficiency to ensure customer satisfaction and business success.

Responsibilities

Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations
Manage sales transactions accurately using POS systems and handle cash or card payments
Assist customers with inquiries regarding automotive repair services or retail products
Conduct effective negotiations to close sales and meet sales targets
Maintain a thorough knowledge of products, services, and current promotions to inform customers effectively
Support marketing initiatives by promoting special offers and new products
Ensure proper order fulfillment and timely processing of customer requests
Maintain organized records of sales activities using Microsoft Excel or other management tools
Uphold excellent phone etiquette when communicating with customers over the phone or via digital channels
Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the sales floor or service area
Collaborate with team members to improve overall customer experience and operational efficiency

Skills

Proven experience in dealership sales, retail sales, or automotive repair is preferred
Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling, and cashiering procedures
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus
Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and closing deals
Knowledge of marketing strategies relevant to retail or automotive sectors
Experience in sales management or order fulfillment processes is advantageous
Familiarity with Microsoft Excel for record keeping and data analysis
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Good math skills for handling transactions and calculating discounts or payments
Excellent phone etiquette for engaging with customers professionally
Ability to work well in a team environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism
