Full job description

We are seeking a motivated and outgoing Leasing Agent to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing property leasing processes, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring tenant satisfaction. This position requires strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Please note: This is a temporary position (6–8 months), with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs. Candidates must have their own reliable vehicle to travel between multiple properties.

Responsibilities

Advertise Vacancies:

Create and manage listings on Facebook Marketplace, rental websites, and other online platforms to generate interest in available units.

Respond to Inquiries:

Promptly respond to prospective tenant inquiries via email, phone, and messaging apps to provide information and schedule appointments.

Coordinate and Conduct Showings:

Set up and lead property tours, highlighting unit features and answering tenant questions to encourage leasing decisions.
Receive and review rental applications, collect necessary documentation and security deposits, and submit completed files for final approval.
Conduct walk-throughs of vacant apartments to ensure they are clean, functional, and ready for showing and move-in.
Regularly check local rental comps to ensure unit pricing remains competitive and aligned with current market trends.
Travel between multiple properties as required.

Qualifications

At least 2 years of previous experience as a property manager, leasing agent, or realtor
Strong phone etiquette and excellent verbal communication skills
Proficiency in administrative tasks including data entry and file management
Familiarity with Buildium or similar property management software is a plus
Ability to work independently
Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on tenant satisfaction
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Must have a reliable vehicle to move between properties
