CONSOLIDATED OFFICE INSTALLATION SERVICES

Location: Ottawa, ON.

Role Type: Permanent, Full Time.

Salary Range: $22.00-25.00 per hour; commensurate with experience.

We’re looking for reliable, hands‑on candidates to join our team as Office Furniture Installers. In this role, you’ll help deliver, assemble, and install office furniture for corporate and institutional clients across the region. If you enjoy physical work, take pride in quality craftsmanship, and like working as part of a team, we want to hear from you.

Consolidated Office Installation Services offers interested candidates with office furniture installation experience and an aptitude for hands-on, practical work the opportunity to apply their skills, enthusiasm, and experience to the field of office furniture installation and assembly.

What You’ll Do:

Deliver, assemble, and install office furniture and systems
Follow floor plans, diagrams, and installation instructions
Load and unload trucks with product, tools, and equipment
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
Perform basic repair work and service calls when required
Communicate clearly with clients and coworkers
Work safely and maintain professional conduct on every job site

What We’re Looking For:

Experience with office furniture systems (Haworth, Steelcase, Teknion, Herman Miller, Global, Allsteel, Knoll) is an asset
Ability to lift 50 lbs + and perform physical tasks throughout the day
Must have own tools and required PPE (safety boots, hard hat) * Tool purchase program offered
Valid driver’s license is an asset
Bilingualism is an asset.
Must be bondable
Ability to read floor plans, drawings, and assembly instructions
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Comfortable working with GPS, tablets, and basic tech
Flexibility for occasional evenings or weekends

Charger et décharger le camion (équipement, mobilier, outils)
Utiliser les outils manuels et électriques de façon sécuritaire
Effectuer des réparations ou interventions de service au besoin
Communiquer efficacement avec vos collègues et les clients
Respecter les normes de sécurité et de qualité sur chaque chantier

Ce que nous recherchons :

Expérience avec des systèmes de mobilier (Haworth, Steelcase, Teknion, Herman Miller, Global, Allsteel, Knoll) – un atout
Capacité à soulever jusqu’à 50 lb et effectuer un travail physique régulier
Possession de vos propres outils et EPI (bottes de sécurité, casque)
Permis de conduire valide – atout
Doit être en mesure d’obtenir une cote de fiabilité (être bondable)
Capacité à lire des plans et documents techniques
Bon esprit d’équipe et communication professionnelle
À l’aise avec le GPS, les tablettes ou outils technologiques de base
Disponibilité pour travailler occasionnellement en soirée ou fin de semaine
