Full job description

We are looking for a hands-on Operations assistant / Dispatcher to support our Operations Manager in coordinating day-to-day field operations.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being in the middle of the action. Managing schedules, coordinating crews, organizing materials, visiting warranty calls, assessing foundations and keeping the warehouse and operations running efficiently.

You will play a critical role in ensuring jobs are properly scheduled, crews are equipped, and projects move forward without delays.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct support to the Operations Manager with daily tasks and priorities
Assist with scheduling crews, jobs, and site visits
Track job progress, updates, and outstanding items
Help manage materials, equipment, and logistics
Communicate with clients as needed regarding scheduling and updates
Assist with documentation, job files, and internal systems (e.g., Acculynx)
Identify and help resolve operational issues in real time
Manage warranty calls
Deliver supplies to job sites
Field support where needed
Qualifications:
Mandatory HANDS ON construction experience (4 years)
Proven experience in operations / lead roles
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00-$29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50.0 – 60.0 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

Gloucester, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

Construction: 3 years (required)

Work Location: In person
