What's missing is an owner to pull it together into a narrative our market can't ignore.
We're putting real money behind it. We've just hired tier 1 PR agencies in the US and Canada - and that's only the start. Prove the model in North America, and the plan is to fund the same effort in other geographies. This is a chance to build a global communications function from the ground up, with the investment and executive support to do it.
That's this role. You'll decide what Coveo says to the world, where it says it, and how it sounds - and make sure the right buyers and media hear it.
As our Vice President, Communications & Brand Narrative, you will:
- Create the narrative. Shape a differentiated story connecting our product vision, the market shift, and what our customers achieve - and make it land with enterprise buyers.
- Build out a high quality global operation. Deploy the US and Canada agency budget now, prove what works, then expand into Europe and Australia.
- Get us on the map with our key buyers. Build the earned-media engine from the ground up - top-tier business and tech press, podcasts, and the channels where our
buyers pay attention - and lead the agency partnerships that scale it
- Tell great customer stories. Turn our marquee customers into compelling, repeatable proof points - not buried case studies, but stories people remember.
- Elevate our social media presence and brand voice. Own our social presence and give Coveo a voice that's confident, credible, and worth following.
- Drive cross-functional narrative leadership. Align marketing, product, and sales behind one story - and arm our executives to tell it well.
- Amplify our biggest moments. Drive integrated communications around product launches, Gartner MQs, partnerships, and major announcements.
Here is what will qualify you for the role:
- Are genuinely curious about AI and excited to explain how it's reshaping the enterprise.
- Are a creative storyteller who can translate complex technology into a narrative people care about.
- Have built communications programs - you're energized by a blank canvas, not waiting for a playbook to inherit.
- Work fluidly across product, sales, and marketing rather than operating in a "PR" silo.
- Can balance strategy with execution - you'll set the vision and get the placements.
- Bring deep experience in enterprise B2B technology or SaaS communications, and know how to direct agencies and budget toward real outcomes - not just brief them.
What would make you stand out:
- A track record of taking a strong-but-underexposed company and meaningfully raising its profile.
- Experience launching narratives in emerging or fast-defining categories.
- Comfort coaching C-level executives and building thought-leadership platforms.
- Range across earned, social, and paid - with an instinct for where attention is moving next.
- You move fast - you know trying new things means failing, and you're fine failing quickly because that's how we get better.
