Full job description

Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and friendly Server/Bartender to join our lively hospitality team! In this dynamic role, you will be the face of our establishment, creating memorable experiences for our guests through exceptional service and a welcoming attitude. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help ensure every visitor feels valued and enjoys their time with us. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your hospitality skills, develop your food and beverage knowledge, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Greet guests warmly, take their orders accurately, and serve food and beverages promptly using our POS (Point of Sale) system, including Micros POS software.
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks responsibly, adhering to all food safety and alcohol service regulations.
Manage cash handling duties with precision, including cashiering, processing payments, and giving correct change.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, tables, and service stations in compliance with food safety standards.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns or special requests professionally.
Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their visit, providing attentive customer service to foster a welcoming atmosphere.
Follow all food handling procedures, ensuring proper hygiene practices are maintained at all times.

Experience

Prior restaurant or food industry experience is highly preferred; familiarity with serving and bartending is a plus.
Experience using POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and cash transactions.
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently during busy periods.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
Knowledge of food safety standards, proper food handling techniques, and basic math skills for accurate cash handling.
Previous experience in hospitality roles that involve serving alcohol responsibly is desirable.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
