Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server/Bartender to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages and food, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong multitasking skills, and experience in food and beverage service. Prior experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is preferred, along with a solid understanding of food safety and handling procedures. This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills in the food industry while delivering memorable experiences to our patrons.

Duties

Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems like Micros POS
Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of hospitality
Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change with basic math skills
Ensure proper food handling and safety procedures are followed at all times
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the serving area, bar, and dining space
Assist in setting up and breaking down service stations before and after shifts
Engage with guests to create a welcoming environment, addressing any special requests or concerns
Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours
Adhere to all food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies

Qualifications

Previous restaurant or food industry experience is highly desirable
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques
Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
Serving or alcohol certification is a plus but not required; training will be provided if necessary
Hospitality background is preferred, demonstrating a genuine passion for guest satisfaction
