Job Overview

The Model: Chef Share This is a genuine business partnership opportunity. Instead of a standard hourly wage, this is an equity/revenue-sharing opportunity.

We bring the location, the investment, and the backing. You bring the culinary skill, the passion, and the drive to build a staple dining destination. You will directly share in the profits and growth of the business, making this the perfect opportunity for a chef looking to step out of the grind of an hourly wage and into ownership.

Compensation is based on a profit-share agreement.

What We Are Looking For:

An experienced Head Chef, Sous Chef, or Kitchen Manager with a strong culinary background.
An entrepreneurial mindset—someone who treats the kitchen like their own business and wants more than just a standard paycheque.
A passion for high-quality food, cost management, and strict inventory control.
Reliability, leadership, and a commitment to serving the Meaford community.

Skills

Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and food service operations
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
Excellent knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
Experience in restaurant management including inventory control and cost management
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Exceptional communication skills for team coordination and customer interaction
Knowledge of current culinary trends and innovative menu development
Experience with serving guests in a hospitality setting is preferred
