Job Type: Fixed-Term Contract
Contract Length: 6 Months
Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Overtime: Voluntary overtime opportunities may be available based on production requirements

Position Summary
We are currently seeking a motivated and dependable Production Associate to join our manufacturing team on a fixed-term contract basis. This role involves assembling wastewater treatment system components while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced shop environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret schematics, drawings, and assembly instructions
- Assemble wastewater treatment system components to established quality standards
- Follow standardized operating procedures to minimize defects and ensure consistency
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Safely operate hand and power tools, including:
- Drills
- Nail guns
- Circular saws
- Table saws
- Perform general shop and production duties as assigned
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to:
- Perform light to medium physical tasks on a regular basis
- Frequently lift, push, and pull materials
- Lift products weighing up to 75 lbs (34 kg)
- Perform repetitive upper-body movements throughout the shift
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and participate in on-the-job training
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities
- Previous shop or manufacturing experience considered an asset
- Minimum 2 years of experience using hand and power tools required
Requirements
