Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Laborer/Roofer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will assist with various manual tasks on-site, supporting the successful completion of projects. This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in construction and carpentry, contributing to a dynamic work environment that values safety, teamwork, and craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation and clean-up of construction sites, including moving materials and tools
Use hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills, and levels to support construction activities
Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely and efficiently
Support carpentry tasks including framing, trimming, and installing fixtures
Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate project execution
Apply caulking and sealing techniques to ensure quality finishes
Conduct general handyman duties as needed to support project progress
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Skills

Proficiency with hand tools and basic construction equipment
Experience in carpentry, caulking, and general handyman work preferred
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively
Basic understanding of blueprint reading for construction projects
Strong physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Prior experience in construction/ Roofing or related fields is required

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
