Dental Receptionist - Maple Leaf Dentistry - Peterborough, ON

Maple Leaf Dentistry is a well-established, patient-focused dental practice located in the heart of Peterborough. Our team is known for providing exceptional patient care in a welcoming, professional environment, and we are proud to have many long-term team members who have built rewarding careers with us.

We are currently seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Dental Receptionist to join our team.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in creating a positive experience for every patient who walks through our doors.

What You'll Do

Welcome patients and create a positive first impression
Answer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries
Schedule and confirm appointments
Manage patient records and electronic dental charts
Verify insurance coverage and submit claims
Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
Coordinate patient treatment schedules and follow-up appointments
Support the clinical team to ensure smooth daily operations
Maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism at all times

What We're Looking For

Previous dental reception or dental administration experience preferred
Experience with dental practice management software considered an asset
Experience as a dental assistant or denture office welcomed
Strong communication and customer service skills
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Professional, friendly, and compassionate demeanor
Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay: $25.00–$29.00 per hour
