Full job description

This position requires you to be available to work Monday to Friday 11am to 6:00pm. Occasional Saturdays.

We are searching for a friendly and professional sandwich maker to join our restaurant.

A Sandwich Maker prepares and assembles sandwiches, wraps, and other food items according to customer orders or recipes, ensuring freshness and quality while maintaining a clean workstation, handling orders/payments, and following food safety standards in settings like delis, cafes, or fast-food restaurants. Key duties include prepping ingredients (slicing meats/veggies, toasting bread), assembling orders, operating cash registers, restocking supplies, and providing friendly customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Welcome customers and help determine their orders.
Process customer orders and record them in the POS system.
Process and document delivery orders.
Ensure all orders are delivered to the customers in a timely manner.
Place food orders in the appropriate bags and boxes.
Respond to customer inquiries, issue receipts, and record customer suggestions.
Clean and arrange eating, service, and kitchen spaces.
Ensure all products are stocked appropriately for the next business day

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
Proven experience in a customer service role is an advantage.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Good mathematical skills.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week

Schedule:

7 hour shift
Day shift
Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed
