Job Duties:

Preparation of jobsite prior to the begining of job
Prepare layouts and build foundations
Building of decks, fences, pergolas, screens etc..
Schedule and co-ordinate work on jobsite
Load and unload materals, tools, and equipment required for project
Operate various hand tools, power tools, and equipment used to complete project
Read and interpret structural drawings and designs
Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment
Supervise other employees
Complete daily paperwork
Comply with all company policies and procedures

Requirements:

Completion of high school and college or technical training
3-5 years of experience with general carpentry
Capable of operating tools and equipment in a safe manner
Time Management skills
Must possess a valid drivers license with clean record
Knowledge of specific materials, methods, tools, and equipment required
Ability to work both independently with little supervision and as a part of a team
Ability to walk, stand, crouch for long periods of time and carry out strenuous physical tasks
Speak, read and write English

Work Conditions:

Ability to work with hand tools, small equipment, and materials
Ability to lift minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly through the work shift
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Excellent stamina is required
Work near heavy equipment and other vehicles on a regular basis
Work outdoors in various conditions including heat, humidity, rain, cold, dust and noise

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $30 to $40 /hour
