Premiere Vancouver Island Spa Destination Hiring Laundry Attendants

Kingfisher Pacific Resort and Spa is an award-winning destination nestled in a stunning oceanfront setting. Renowned for its panoramic views, exceptional amenities, and commitment to genuine hospitality, the resort offers guests a rejuvenating escape with world-class spa experiences, exquisite dining, and breathtaking natural surroundings. We are dedicated to creating memorable moments for our guests and fostering a vibrant, positive team environment. We are in search of the right individual for this challenging position.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver consistent service excellence in support of the overall guest experience,
Dry, fold, and organize linens to resort standards
Ensure adequate inventory of clean linens is available at all times
Load and unload laundry machines efficiently
Transport linens, supplies, and equipment between areas
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area
Assist with guest requests as needed

Requirements

Strong organizational and cleaning skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Self-motivated with a positive, team-first attitude
Physically capable of:
Lifting and carrying 30–40 lbs repeatedly
Standing for extended periods
Performing repetitive tasks (lifting, folding, loading machines)
Climbing multiple flights of stairs throughout a shift
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Previous housekeeping or laundry experience is an asset, but not required

At the Kingfisher, we operate as a team, and are looking for the right person to complement our family. The right candidate will work well as part of a team, being flexible and willing to jump in where needed. The ideal candidate will live reasonably nearby the resort, and will have flexibility to occasionally come to work on short notice.
