Your future role on our team
You’ll play a key role in coordinating and ensuring the quality and proper presentation of strategic deliverables for engineering projects and business development activities. Your primary responsibilities will include revising, correcting, formatting and improving technical and corporate documents, including engineering reports, presentations, proposals, résumés, project sheets and internal content.
You’ll also support the Sales team, proposal leaders and technical teams in preparing responses to requests for proposals, quotes and information as well as strategic presentations, while ensuring the quality, compliance, consistency and timely delivery of proposals.

Support projects, deliverables and technical documents
- Revise, correct and improve the linguistic, visual and writing quality of engineering deliverables
- Format and ensure the consistency of technical reports, presentations, internal documents, proposals, résumés, project sheets and other documents

Coordinate proposals
- Analyze requests for proposals, quotes and information to identify requirements, timelines and compliance criteria
- Help prepare, draft, revise and format proposals, ensuring their quality, compliance and added value
- Work with technical teams to gather, organize and enhance content, including experience, qualifications, approaches, résumés and project sheets
- Coordinate production, quality control, version tracking and delivery of proposals in accordance with schedules
- Maintain corporate tools and documents for proposals (templates, résumés, skills sheets, references and qualifications) and coordinate the required support resources, as needed

Summary of certifications and job requirements
- From 3 to 10 years of relevant experience in drafting, revising, coordinating proposals, providing project support, communications, marketing or business development
- Advanced English skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in English-speaking Canadian provinces and internationally; you may need to use English occasionally or daily, depending on current projects
- Advanced French skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in Québec
- Excellent drafting, revising, organizing and presenting skills for professional and technical content
- Excellent drafting, revising, synthesizing and simplifying skills for technical and strategic content
- Experience preparing proposals, strategic presentations and documents for clients
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook, and in best practices for document management
- Strong communication, coordination, analytical and prioritization skills under tight deadlines
- Strong organizational, coordination, prioritization skills for handling multiple files simultaneously
- Proficiency with digital tools, including artificial intelligence (AI) tools used for drafting, revising and optimizing content
- Knowledge of or strong interest in AI tools used for content writing, research and optimization
- Asset: experience in the consulting engineering or professional services field, including knowledge of the sales process and proposals
