About The Position
We're growing, and we're looking for a Lead Carpenter who can confidently take ownership of day-to-day work on renovation projects. You'll be trusted to lead on site, keep work moving, solve problems as they come up, and stay aligned with the Project Manager so projects are completed to our standards.
This role is for someone who is already comfortable leading the work, communicating clearly with clients and trades, mentoring others, and taking pride in a clean, organized, well-run job site.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
- This is not an entry level position!
- If you’re looking for direction at every couple of steps, this isn’t for you.
- 3-5+ years of relevant carpentry/renovation experience, with the ability to work independently.
- Reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license.
You should already be comfortable with these tasks
- Laying out and framing walls, openings, bulkheads, etc.
- Installing doors, trim and finish carpentry to a high standard
- Tile work and cabinet installation, with an eye for detail
- Performing basic electrical, plumbing and mechanical work
- Building bathrooms and kitchens from demolition through completion
- Solving site problems independently
- Coordinating with sub-trades and inspectors
Key Responsibilities
- Perform carpentry tasks to a high standard, working independently with minimal supervision (framing, finishing, installations, etc.).
- Check in regularly with the Project Manager and the team to keep projects aligned.
- Communicate directly and professionally with clients on day-to-day site progress and questions.
- Assist with measurements, material take-offs, and basic estimates.
- Spot what needs to be done and take initiative without waiting to be told.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site.
