Job Description

Swamper:

Responsibilities:

Provide labour support to operators
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, such a daily inspections and greasing
Adhere to Terroco’s Health & Safety Policies
Follow Terroco’s operating policies
Ensure professional service and a positive attitude for each job
All other duties as required

Qualifications:

Valid driver’s license
Physical labor – able to lift 50 to 100 Lbs
Ability to wear protective equipment such as: safety glasses, face shields, goggles, ear muff/plugs, hard hat, steel toed boots, self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA), H2S detectors, etc
First Aid, H2S, Fall Protection, Ground Disturbance, Confined Space and other safety tickets are an asset
Motivation to work hard to get tasks done on time, as well as a competitive spirit
Problem solving skills
Able to work independently and as part of a small team

Yard Labourer:

Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

Past experience as a general yard labourer is an asset
Valid class 5 drivers license
Physical labor – able to lift 50 to 100 Lbs
Ability to wear protective equipment such as: safety glasses, face shields, goggles, ear muff/plugs, hard hat, steel toed boots, self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA), H2S detectors, etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
