Poste : contrôleur adjoint

Une entreprise bien établie et en pleine croissance dans le secteur du vêtement recherche un contrôleur adjoint expérimenté et soucieux du détail pour rejoindre son équipe à Ville Saint-Laurent.

Il s’agit d’un poste permanent à temps plein offrant d’excellentes perspectives d’évolution de carrière, un milieu de travail collaboratif et la possibilité de faire partie d’une équipe dynamique et solidaire.

Principales responsabilités :

Gérer les comptes fournisseurs, les comptes clients, le crédit et la facturation.
Préparer les rapports quotidiens sur les ventes à l’intention de la haute direction.
Traiter les lettres de crédit et les virements bancaires au besoin.
Préparer les rapports mensuels sur les commissions.
Effectuer les rapprochements bancaires mensuels.
S’assurer de l’exactitude et de l’exhaustivité du calcul des coûts des stocks, en enquêtant sur tout écart.
Tenir compte des marchandises en transit.
Effectuer des analyses de marge brute.
Contribuer à la clôture mensuelle dans les délais et à la préparation des états financiers.
Tenir à jour les registres comptables, y compris les registres des immobilisations et des charges.
Préparer les déclarations mensuelles de la TPS/TVQ.
Effectuer le rapprochement des comptes interentreprises.
Examiner et rapprocher les comptes du grand livre, préparer et passer les écritures comptables, et contribuer aux procédures de clôture mensuelle.
Participer aux inventaires de fin d’année.
Appuyer les processus d’audit interne et externe.
Préparer des analyses et des rapports financiers à l’intention de la haute direction.
Accomplir d’autres tâches comptables, administratives ou de bureau, au besoin.

Qualifications :

Études postsecondaires en comptabilité, en administration des affaires ou dans un domaine connexe. Un baccalauréat ou un certificat en comptabilité est considéré comme un atout majeur.
Au moins 3 ans d’expérience en comptabilité dans un poste similaire.
Solide compréhension des principes comptables du cycle complet.
Capacité à gérer plusieurs priorités, à respecter les échéances et à s’adapter à un environnement de travail dynamique.
Sens aigu de l’organisation, esprit analytique, souci du détail et capacité à traiter les renseignements confidentiels avec discrétion.
Motivé(e) et capable de travailler de façon autonome tout en contribuant efficacement au sein d’une équipe.
Solides compétences informatiques, notamment la maîtrise de Microsoft Office et d’Excel (niveau intermédiaire à avancé).
Une expérience avec Richter/PVX ou d’autres logiciels de comptabilité constitue un atout.
Une expérience antérieure dans l’industrie du vêtement ou de la mode est considérée comme un atout.
Maîtrise du français.
Excellentes aptitudes en communication orale et écrite.

Position: Assistant Controller
Location: Ville Saint-Laurent

A well-established and growing company in the apparel industry is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Assistant Controller to join its team in Ville Saint-Laurent.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity offering excellent career growth, a collaborative work environment, and the chance to be part of a dynamic and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit, and invoicing.
Prepare daily sales reports for senior management.
Process letters of credit and wire payments as required.
Prepare monthly commission reports.
Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of inventory costing, investigating any discrepancies.
Account for goods in transit.
Conduct gross margin analysis.
Assist with the timely month-end close and preparation of financial statements.
Maintain accounting schedules, including fixed assets and expense schedules.
Prepare monthly GST/QST returns.
Reconcile intercompany accounts.
Review and reconcile general ledger accounts, prepare and post journal entries, and assist with month-end closing procedures.
Assist with year-end inventory counts.
Support internal and external audit processes.
Prepare financial analyses and reports for senior management.
Perform other accounting, administrative, or clerical duties as required.

Qualifications:

Post-secondary education in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Bachelor's degree or Accounting certificate is considered a strong asset.
Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience in a similar role.
Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting principles.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Highly organized, analytical, detail-oriented, and able to handle confidential information with discretion.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and intermediate to advanced Excel.
Experience with Richter/PVX or other accounting software is an asset.
Previous experience in the apparel or fashion industry is considered an asset.
Proficient in French.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
